Hunter Classics Tour Year 2004 in Review!
Another successful
year for the Hunter Classics tour is complete! Over $25,000 in cash and prizes were
awarded to the Hunter Classics Tour members and we celebrated Eleven Years!!!
145 ladies from
around the world competed in the Hunter Classics Tour in the year 2004.
The average attendance was 43 ladies per stop.

1st stop:
50 ladies
competed at Fast Eddie's in Round Rock, TX on February
7-8. Leslie Anne Rogers from the Dallas area won the tournament and
the WPBA Qualifier. Lisa Marr from Little Rock, Arkansas came in
second.
Amanda Lampert won the 2nd chance tournament.
2nd stop:
41 ladies competed at Shooter
II in Lake Jackson, TX on March 6-7. This was the first time
Shooters II hosted the event and the ladies loved the new room and
the room loved the ladies! Leslie Anne Rogers won the tournament and Lisa
Marr won the Qualifier (Lisa came in third). Orietta Strickland came
in second - Orietta won the first set, but at 6-6 the second set,
Leslie won the final game.
Sue Barrentine won the 2nd chance tournament.
3rd Stop
38 women played at Legend's Billiards
in League City, TX on June 5-6. Miyuki Sakai from Japan won the
tournament and the WPBA Qualifier. Orietta Strickland came in second.

4th stop:

ladies competed at Paradise Billiards in Denver, Colorado
July 10-11. Julia Gabriel won the WPBA Qualifier and the
tournament. Leslie Anne Rogers from the Dallas/Fort Worth area
came in second.
Melinda Bailey
won the 2nd chance tournament.
5th stop:
54 women came
to compete at Legend's Billiards in League City on August 9-10. Leslie
Anne Rogers won the tournament and the Qualifier by double dipping Rachel
Hurst in the finals. Rachel claimed her highest finish yet by placing
second. Lisa Marr becomes a Touring Pro!
Julie
Stirinak won the 2nd chance tournament.
6th stop:
36 women came to
compete in Brenham, TX at Legend's Billiards and Grill. Kelly Fisher won
the tournament and the WPBA Qualifier. Miyuki Sakai came in second.
Leslie Anne Rogers won the 2nd chance tournament.
7th stop:
The year ended with a bang at
Big Daddy's in Alvin, TX with 48 women coming to compete and
also to play in the Champion Stop. Leslie Anne Rogers won the
tournament, the WPBA Qualifier and became the Tour Champion by earning the
most points over the season. Tara McCracken finished off her season in second place in the
tournament and on the tour!
Rachel Hurst won the 2nd chance tournament.
The year
2004 saw many veteran Hunter Classics players along with numerous new
faces. The goal of the Hunter Classics Tour is to provide
a friendly, respectful, and competitive environment for ALL levels of women to compete.
We are dedicted to helping the women reach their dreams.
A great deal
of the Hunter Classics Tour success is due to the all the supportive players
that love pool and come to the events to challenge themselves. The
Hunter Classics Tour is the largest, highest paying, longest running regional women's tour
in the United States!
