59 women showed up to play pool at the wonderful and always gracious  Eric's Billiards!  This time, Belinda Campos provided excellent food  specials with her new "Breaking Bread" food deli.  If Susan Dasher  didn't have her hands full, we would have had 60 women fighting  for the first place, $1000 prize money, and the WPBA Gentleman Jack Qualifier. 

Julie Mason won the 5th Hunter at Eric's Billiards on this weekend of July 18th and 19th.  Leslie Ann Rogers had a great tournament as well, winning the winners bracket, and only losing to Julie Mason in the finals, to get 2nd place and $600.  June Walter fought hard on Sunday to keep herself hightest in the point standings; she ended up 3rd place in the tournament, with total points year-to-date at 185 - 45 points ahead of Melanie Koger, who got 9th-12th.

Shelly Barnes was back, playing well even with a leg brace and helping cane - she came in 5th/6th.  Deanna Kniola and Heather Pulford of  Austin played well at home court and received 4th and 5th place respectively.

Tammy Kroop of Austin, and Judy Byam of Albuquerque, NM fought for the second chance tournament as Carrie Hickman, Austin and Deann Bridger  from Waco, TX fought for $120 of the Last Chance Angry Women's Single  Elimination Winner Take All Tournament.  Well, the Austin women prevailed winning both tournaments!
