HUNTER CLASSICS AMATEUR WOMEN'S TOUR
Congratulations goes out to Shelly Barnes for winning first place
in this event. Shelly walked away with the $1,000 first prize
along with a nice Levi jacket that had the Hunter Tour on the back, along with a
cap to match, which was donated by Bullseye Billiards. Photographs coming
soon.
This stop was
held at Pool Sharks in Las Vegas. This was a first for the Hunter Tour,
which drew out 39 women to play in the main event. Women from
Arizona, New Mexico, California, Colorado, Nevada, Arkansas, and Texas showed up
to play in this great event.
Pool Sharks is
owned by Lou "Machine Gun" Buttera, and Joe Cannella who were both on-hand to
watch some great pool playing. Pool Sharks was very generous to the
Hunter Tour and let us play on fifteen of their nine-foot tables, which had just
been recovered a couple of days before the tournament.
Bullseye
Billiards in Las Vegas also donated over $600 worth of merchandise. The
Levi jacket and cap were one of many things donated. They also donated a
2x4 pool case, powder pouches an Elliminator cue, and other goodies!
Debra Aarons who is local recognized artist (and plays on the Hunter Tour)
donated two signed posters.
The Hunter cue
was won by one of our very own Hunter players, Anne Gray.
Congratulations Anne. We know you have won one of the best
playing cues out there!
